  • Sound and detailed lift & escalator knowledge – both for new equipment and existing (modernisation, maintenance) an advantage.

  • Suitable academic qualifications.

HEAD OF NEW DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

Job description – Key duties and attributes

  1. At least ten years’ experience of working as a lift consultant with a range of “blue chip” clients.
  2. A thorough knowledge of the lift consultancy marketplace and the ability to bring in new clients and opportunities to the firm is essential.
  3. Responsible for all aspects of selling consulting services and designing and executing all new development projects.
  4. Leading a small team of other consultants to facilitate delivery of all services from concept to completion including initial design using “in house” drafting services, our “expert” system software and other internal resources.

Previous Industry Related Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of codes and standards and lift layout drawing experience plus the ability to manage a small team of consultants and an engineering department responsible for producing bespoke CAD layout drawings including calculation of guide rail forces, structural and electrical loads is also required.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER LONDON REGION

Location: Woking, Surrey

Job description – Key duties and attributes

  1. Identify potential clients for Movvéo specifically in relation to our Maintenance Management services. Selling of our other services being secondary.
  2. Set up meetings with decision makers of potential clients and give presentations of Movvéo services with particular emphasis on Maintenance Management.
  3. Categorize all potential clients into specific market sectors and quantify the potential number of units and value based on agreed criteria. Identify the most promising sectors target a specific potential clients.
  4. Develop and deliver fee proposals to potential clients and fine tune such proposals to match their specific needs and requirements.
  5. Identify additional fee billing opportunities using Maintenance Management as a basic service e.g. audits, surveys, modernisation projects and even new development opportunities.
  6. Commit to meeting agreed sales targets and budgets for fee income and billings on a month by month basis and generate sales reports indicating progress being made with all potential clients. Continually adjust top prospects listing in order to be following up multiple potential clients concurrently.
  7. Assist in continuing to increase MovvéO business awareness with both new and existing clients.

Previous Industry Related Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Solid Sales Experience in the Lift Industry with large contact base
  • Good background knowledge of lifts and escalators

PROJECT DIRECTOR – FACADE ACCESS

Location: Woking, Surrey

Job description – Key duties and attributes

Project input shall include for but not be limited to the following activities.

  1. The writing, formulation and issue of proposals, design reports, site surveys, audits, reports, specifications to Movvéo standards, tender evaluations, submittal reviews, factory inspections, payment certificates, witness testing etc. in connection with the façade access services for projects. These shall generally be in a format approved by Movvéo in accordance with its quality standards.
  2. Provide technical support when in the office.
  3. Carry out and produce reports and specifications to Movvéo systems and methods.
  4. Undertake specific projects, as required, to meet Movvéo development goals.
  5. Carry out loading and cleaning time analysis.
  6. Computer skills to operate AutoCAD/ Revit independently.
  7. Back up other members of the team as required.
  8. Working in accordance with current façade access codes and regulations (for example BS EN 1808 Safety requirements on suspended access equipment).
  9. Work to Movvéo BS EN ISO 9001 Quality System.
  10. Be commercially aware and work in a cost effective manner.
  11. Investigate new concepts as and when required.

PORTFOLIO MANAGER – MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT

Location: Woking, Surrey

Job description – Key duties and attributes

  1. Manage a small team of administrative staff managing lift portfolios.
  2. Develop our existing web based services and introduce procedural improvements and access by Contractors.
  3. Oversee production of client summary reports to Movvéo standards.
  4. To manage the continued day-to-day operation of all allocated Clients lift portfolios.
  5. Modify and update standard global Movvéo Maintenance Agreement to suit client’s requirements.
  6. Manage re-tender exercises when required and write up tender analysis in accordance with agreed specification with Client.
  7. Update Cost and Repair Schedules for every new tender.
  8. Make recommendations to client and implement Maintenance Agreement.
  9. Ensure initial “set up” of contracts is done in a timely and efficient manner.
  10. Agree termination of existing Contracts in writing and ensure response is received from Contractor.
  11. Update Client asset register as required but at least every 6 months.
  12. Manage Contractor’s schedule of LG tests.
  13. Manage Contractor’s close out of Time Constraint Defects from LOLERs within 7 days and Non Time Constraint Defects from LOLERs within 60 days.
  14. Approve Contractor quotations and/or invoices where correct and reject where not.
  15. Manage meetings and present portfolio report to each Client on agreed frequency and produce accurate minutes.
  16. Manage meetings and review KPIs with each Contractor on agreed frequency and produce accurate minutes.
  17. Request and audit Contractors reports on downtime missed visits, performance etc.
  18. Seek additional business opportunities.
  19. Back up other members of the team as required.
  20. Be commercially aware and work in a cost-effective manner.
  21. Investigate new concepts as and when required.

Previous Industry Related Requirements

  • Possess a good background knowledge of the Vertical Transportation industry.
  • Have an understanding of the After Sales business, Maintenance, Repairs and Modernisation and the interaction between these activities.
  • Understand the modern day FM market and it’s requirements in order to match Movvéo`s services to the market needs.
  • Knowledge of Codes & Standards an advantage.
  • Junior managerial experience – project management biased.
  • Able to manage Contractors and conduct meetings at all levels of Contractor and Customer Management.
  • Have the capability to act as an ambassador for the Company and promote its services.
  • Possess commercial and sales ability to seek out and secure new opportunities, particularly in the field of Maintenance Management.
  • Able to motivate staff at all levels and work as a team member.
  • Be prepared to perform as a team or project leader, or subordinate as depending on the task requirements
